Mous Au Chocolat. This classic French Chocolate Mousse is incredibly easy to make and requires only a few ingredients! Hors du feu, incorporer les jaunes et le sucre.
Hors du feu, incorporer les jaunes et le sucre. Melt chocolate in a double boiler over warm water. Keep over low heat until ready to use.
Take the pan off the heat but keep the bowl over the hot water and stir in the brandy.
Break the rest into small, even-sized pieces and melt in a bowl placed over a pan of simmering water.
Gradually add the sugar syrup, beating constantly. Remove from the heat and beat with a heavy wooden spoon until smooth. Break the chocolate into small pieces directly into the bowl (no need to chop it first and dirty a cutting board).
